The Damage Counter is a Pokemon TCG mechanic that's easy to misremember mid-game. Here's exactly what it does, plus a free on-screen tracker so you never lose count at the table.

Tracking Damage Counter counters for two players. Add more players by opening this tool in another tab if you're playing a multiplayer pod.

What it does

Small markers placed on a Pokemon to track damage taken, usually in increments of 10. When damage counters equal or exceed a Pokemon's HP, it's knocked out.

Rules note

Damage counters are removed if the Pokemon is healed, and reset entirely if the Pokemon returns to the hand or deck.
