About Edward Cromarty

Edward Cromarty is a small collection of counter tools and counter-strategy guides, built around one idea: when someone searches for a way to count something, or a way to counter someone, they should get a straight answer fast, not a wall of ads or a sign-up form.

What's here

The site is split into two kinds of pages. Tool pages are real, working calculators and counters that run entirely in your browser: word and character counters, click and tally counters, and live trackers for trading card game counters. Nothing you type is sent anywhere; the counting happens on your device.

Guide pages cover counter-strategy questions for games like League of Legends, Overwatch, Dota 2 and Sekiro. These are written to stay accurate over time by focusing on the underlying mechanics and archetypes rather than a single patch's numbers, since those numbers change every few weeks but the underlying logic usually doesn't.

How the site is built

Edward Cromarty is a static site with no tracking scripts required to use any of the tools. It's built to load quickly and work well on any device, from a phone on a slow connection to a widescreen desktop monitor.
