The Stun Counter is a Magic: The Gathering mechanic that's easy to misremember mid-game. Here's exactly what it does, plus a free on-screen tracker so you never lose count at the table.

Tracking Stun Counter counters for two players. Add more players by opening this tool in another tab if you're playing a multiplayer pod.
What it does
Prevents a permanent from untapping during its controller's next untap step. One stun counter is removed each time this happens instead of the permanent untapping.
Rules note
A permanent with a stun counter stays tapped through an entire extra turn cycle before it can untap again.
